My Cabin in Direbo
Story: Sometime last year, I was on the forums, and I mentioned that I had a cabin in the Age of Direbo from Myst V. The reason I said this is because at night, I would turn on Myst V on my computer, Alt-Tab to desktop (to save on resources, because the video card isn't being bogged down, but the sound still runs), turn off the monitors, and fall asleep to the beautifully done forest sounds of Direbo. Since then, it's become more then just a habit, as I have a very hard time falling asleep without that sound on... it's just so soothing.
So, because I "slept" in Direbo, I started joking that I had a cabin. Well, my friend Kierra Windsong ended up making a picture of her putting her flag in Toldemir (also from Myst V), giving me the idea to actually do an edit of a screenshot in Direbo. Well, until recently, I've been bogged down with various other things (work, music, writing, etc...), but tonight, I decided to finally do this, to see if I could do a decent job. Since I've always loved the look of the Cabin in the Relto age of Uru, I thought I'd take a screenshot of that. So, about 4 hours of actual work, placement, and tweaking, I have a decent looking "snapshot" and wallpaper of my cabin in Direbo.
